TEAM MICHAEL MOYLES
![]() |
Team Michael Moyles honors the achievements of Michael Moyles, a dedicated runner and three-time brain cancer survivor. Diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in 1999, he was given 6 - 8 years to live. Beating all statistics, Michael has now endured three brain surgeries and two reconstructive surgeries, 22 rounds of chemotherapy, 42 rounds of radiation, and many months of IV infusions and other treatments. He has also completed many marathons and other races -- every one completed while preparing for or recovering from surgery, or while going through chemotherapy or radiation. The Team consists of many runners and many races, but all focused on the united goal of crossing the finish line and raising money for cancer research through Lance Armstrong's LiveSTRONG foundation. |
